Fishing Guide - Bryan Markovic

I started fishing at 12 years, fished for Steelhead and Salmon, some Bass and Pike, after catching many Steelhead and Salmon on the rivers. I soon discovered that I was hooked on fishing. My fly-fishing experience started in the Yukon where I fished for Artic Char and Grayling.

To date my best fishing tale was in the Charlottes, where I had a Pink Salmon on and all of the sudden a six-foot shark took my catch. Let’s just say I didn’t land it! I moved to Whistler in 2003 and started guiding as a fly fishing guide for Trout Country Fishing Guides. I love the Whistler area, the amazing wilderness eco system, and fishing the great Whistler river and lake systems.
