Fishing Guide - Dan McCauley

I started fishing at 3 years of age, in King City Ontario, fishing with the original set up, stick, line, bobber, and worm, all the while catching Brook Trout. I’d also often go to Grandma’s in Florida and deep sea fish for various species.

My biggest catch was a 10 lb Grouper. I was only 7 at the time and am still proud of that fish to this day! I came out west to Whistler in 2000 and started fly-fishing in 2003. Trout Country Fishing Guides took me on as a guide 2.5 years ago. I enjoy meeting clients from around the world, sharing my local waters and knowledge of fishing.
