Fishing Guide - Jonathan Moon

I started fishing at the age of 3 with my Grandpa, Uncle Bill, and my Dad. Grandpa was the one that enjoyed taking me the most. As I grew older I would disappear for the day during family camping trips in search of potential fishing holes and that elusive big one.

My fond memories over the years have provided me with a lasting foundation to stick out all of the days in pursuit of further expanding my knowledge of this wonderful sport. Since 1999, I have spent much of my time fishing many of Whistlers waters.

When I am not working in Whistler, I leave town for a month or two and fish wherever my heart desires - usually the Thompson River for steelhead, or some of British Columbia's fishy lakes. Fishing is a great outlet for learning for both young and old. It shows us that all things are connected and we should all do our part to treasure and protect this finite floating rock... after all it's all we have!
