I started fishing with my father for speckled trout (those are eastern Brooke Trout to all indigenous westerners).

I have lived in the Squamish area for over 25 years and have been guiding in the Whistler/Squamish region for 10 years. I have traveled, worked, and fished in many areas of British Columbia and have been proudly guiding with Trout Country Fishing Guides since the company was incorporated by the Gerhart family.
